What is QR Code?

Short for Quick Response Code, QR Code is a machine-readable two-dimensional barcode consisting of an array of black and white squares. It is typically used for storing URLs, geolocations, and messages, and it provides easy access to information through a smartphone.
A QR code is made up of black squares placed in a square grid on a white backdrop that can be scanned by a camera and then processed using Reed–Solomon error correction until the image can be properly comprehended.
