What is Chargebacks?

When a cardholder disputes a transaction with their bank, this is known as an eCommerce chargebacks. The bank or credit card issuer will automatically reverse the transaction and deduct the monies from your merchant account when a cardholder files a chargeback.
A fraudulent transaction is one of the most typical reasons for a chargeback. In this situation, a credit card is used without the cardholder’s permission or authorization.
