Launched in 1987, Car Toys is the biggest independent multi-channel specialty mobile electronics and car audio retailer in America. With offline stores in many cities across the western United States including Washington, Denver, Portland, the brand has a huge and loyal customer base. Envision eCommerce helped Car Toys migrate their store from Magento 1 to Magento 2 and streamline the customer journey on their website using several B2C integrations.
The team at Car Toys wanted a seamless migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2 resulting in the improved customer experience of their website. Some of the plugins on the website were lowering the store’s performance. So, before adding new integrations, we first reviewed the current ones and removed the ones that were just adding more seconds to the site load time.

The major challenge behind this Magento migration project was selecting a suitable theme that goes well with Car Toys branding. Once that was stored, their old store had many extensions that required testing, analysis, and reconsideration.
